The Sri Lanka Navy has uncovered a large stock of live bullets buried by the tiger terrorists during the conflict period.
The Navy said that they recovered these bullets which were buried in the Wellamulliwaikkal area in Mullaitivu. A group of officials of the Gotabhaya Institute with the support of the 681st Brigade uncovered these bullets.
The haul comprised 120 thousand 9 millimeter pistol bullets, 5600 Magnum Blazer ammunition and 275 bullets utilized for 12 bore firearms.
