Applications for the GCE Ordinary Level Examination will be entertained only until the 20th of next month. The Commissioner General of Examinations has made a request that only one application should be forwarded by each candidate.
The Examinations Department has announced that applications for the GCE Ordinary Level Examination will be received only until the 20th of June. School candidates should direct their applications through the Principal while private candidates should forward them through Registered Post.
In the meantime a special programme is in place to provide identity cards to the Ordinary Level candidates. Around 400 thousand candidates who will be sitting the Examination are eligible to secure the National Identity Card. The Department for Registration of Persons has called on the candidates to submit the applications before the day after tomorrow that is on Saturday. The Department says there is a need to submit the applications in time so that it would facilitate its work.
