The deposit of treasure in the Sandahiru Seya built on behalf
of the harmony of the motherland after being united will take place tomorrow under the patronage of the President.
Spokesman for the Media Centre of the Defence Ministry Brig. Ruwan Wanigasuriya said that the Sacred Hair Relics for Exposition parallel to the event is scheduled to arrive in Anuradhapura from the Gangarama Temple in Hunupitiya this evening.
The Brigadier said that the deposit of treasure within the Sandahiru Seya is slated to take place at an auspicious time tomorrow morning. All arrangements are in place to hold this Pinkama under the patronage of President Rajapaksa. There will also be an exposition of the Sacred Hair Relics in Anuradhapura in parallel to this Pinkama.
It is planned to bring the Sacred Relics to Anuradhapura from the Gangarama Temple in Hunupitiya this evening. Brig. Wanigasuriya said that the exposition of the Sacred Hair Relics and other Pinkamas will commence only after the treasure is deposited within the Sandahiru Seya by the President.
