A new hotline has been introduced to lodge complaints with respect to internet issues.
The Sri Lanka Immediate Response Forum has introduced a new hotline to submit complaints with regard to internet issues. Problems related to internet including Facebook can be directed to contact number 0112 691 692. The Computer Immediate Response Forum had received around 900 complaints on internet frauds during the past five months.
The use of Facebook has rapidly increased within the present society while a survey has revealed that more are in the habit of using Facebook via mobile phones than through computers. The Forum has emphasized the need to draw more attention to irregularities committed in the use of internet.
