The Sri Lanka Navy has seized 175 kilograms of Kerala Ganja.
The seizure has been made from near the sea off Kalpitiya. Spokesman for the Navy Commander Kosala Warnakulasuriya said that further investigations are continuing.
Addressing newsmen in Colombo today, the Naval Spokesman Commander Kosala Warnakulasuriya said that three Indians were arrested when they attempted to smuggle this haul of Kerala Ganja. He said that a boat which had been used to smuggle the Kerala Ganja was also taken into custody along with the suspects.
Commander Warnakulasuriya said the arrested would be handed over to the Terrorist Investigation Department for further investigations.
