A state commemorative ceremony under the auspices of President for Fidel Castro
To commemorate the late Cuban revolutionary leader Fidel Castro a state sponsored commemorative ceremony has been arranged under the auspices of President Maithripala Sirisena.This special programme about his qualitative virtue is arranged for Friday the 02nd instant at the presidential secretariat.
This is the first time such a special commemorative state ceremony for a foreign leader is held in the
annals of our history.The decision to have this commemorative ceremony is purely of the President.The special invitees would be the Ambassador of Cuba in Sri Lanka,Foreign Ambassadors,Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna,Sri Lanka Communist party,the Communist Parties, the Members of other leftist parties.Members of Parliament ,intellectuals and other dignitaries.
