Necessary legislation will be enacted for the calling of nominations against for the Puthukudiyiruppu and Muhudubadapatthu Pradesihya Sabha. Elections for these two local councils will be held under proportional system according to provisions of the Local Government Elections Act but it has been observed that they should be done under the new mixed system.
