Yoshitha Rajapaksa's fiancee and mother in accident
The vehicle which was being driven by MP Mr. Lohan Ratwatta had collided with another motor vehicle at first milepost close to the entrance to Innaduwa, Galle on the Southern Expressway. Yohana, Lohan Ratwatte's daughter Yohana and who was also Yoshitha Rajapaksa's fiancee together with her sister were inside the vehicle.
This accident has taken place last night around
11.30 while their car had been travelling towards Galle after leaving Pinnaduwa interchange. A jeep which on its way along coming from the direction of Matara has collided head on. Only the driver had been in the car and he happened to be a teacher conducting supplementary classes. Both vehicles had faced damages in the process. He too has sustained injuries. 50 year old Petthahendige Elin Awanda Niluka and her two daughters have sustained minor injuries and were admitted to Karapitiya Hospital, it has been noted. Later they have left after treatment. As soon as news of the accident reached the ears of Mr. Yoshitha Rajapaksa he had come to the place of the accident under an umbrella.
