Kusal Perera and Tillakaratne Dilshan hit aggressive half centuries as Sri Lanka romped to an emphatic eight-wicket win scoring 143 runs against New Zealand in the second Twenty20 international in Pallekele yesterday. Perera smashed 57 off 37 balls and Dilshan remained unbeaten on 59 off 49 balls as Sri Lanka surpassed New Zealand’s score of 142. Perera hit six fours and two sixes, while Dilshan struck eight boundaries. Kusal Perera was adjudged the player of the match.
