The inauguration of the 32nd Annual Sessions of the Sri Lanka Institute of Architects took place under the patronage of the President.
The 32nd Annual Sessions of the Sri Lanka Institute of Architects ‘Architect 2014’ was held under the patronage of President Rajapaksa at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall yesterday.
Sri Lanka’s High Commissioner to Britain Dr. Chris Nonis delivered the keynote address at the inauguration of the sessions. Architect Prof. Allen Pervi who arrived from Australia also addressed the sessions.
President Rajapaksa handed over a Gold Medal to Mihindu Keerthiratne the former President of the Sri Lanka Institute of Architects for his valuable services to the fields of architect. Architect Suranjith de Silva was offered the membership of the Institute on this occasion. Minister Basil Rajapaksa, Deputy Minister Nandimithra Ekanayake and President of the Sri Lanka Institute of Architects Professor Chithra Wedikkara were among those who graced the occasion.
