A Court in the Netherlands has sentenced five LTTE activists who have been collecting funds and engaged in propaganda for the organization. The Netherlands Police have submitted to the Courts that LTTE activists had directly taken part in LTTE activities from 2003 to 2010. The Court considering the submissions has sentenced them from five years to six years. The security authorities in the Netherlands have launched extensive investigations about the people who maintained contacts with the LTTE in the Netherlands.
