Minister Basil Rajapaksa today inspected the Investment Information Centre which has been set up to enlighten investors who are in the island to participate in the Business Forum organized parallel to the Commonwealth Summit.
The Centre has been established in the First Floor of the Sri Lanka Hotel School premises. It provides all information necessary for investors and also information on investment opportunities available in Sri Lanka. It is being supported by 25 State Institutions including the Board of Investment, the Central Environment Authority, the Forest conservation Department and the Income Tax Department.
The Centre will operate until tomorrow from 8.30 am to 10.30 pm. The websites of local small and medium scale investors were also launched. Minister Lakshman Yapa Abeywardena and Deputy Minister M.L.A.M. Hisbullah were among those who joined in the occasion.
