Foreign Minister of Lesotho Mohlalbi Kenneth Tsekoa has pointed out that certain countries look at Sri Lanka as a nation filled with problems. But after visiting Sri Lanka he has clearly witnessed peace, stability and development. He claimed that the arrangements made for the Commonwealth Summit has earned acclamation of African nations.
The Lesotho Foreign Minister said he is very much impressed with the arrangements made for the Commonwealth Summit. Peace and stability prevails in Sri Lanka. Due to the three decades of war, the world had looked as Sri Lanka as a trouble spot. They are now in the city and the impression they get is that when they look for peace, stability and development, the country should be visited to get an awareness of the ground situation. He said the leadership seems to be pushing the country towards development. He claimed that the opening ceremony of the Summit today was an emotional event. It displayed the strength of culture, dance and song. Mr. Tsekoa said he was impressed.
