Everyone should condemn the actions of Tamil National Alliance and Northern Chief Minister Vigneshwaran. He became the Chief Minister due to the sacrifices made by the heroic soldiers and the efforts of the Government. His support to the attempt of Jayalalitha to release the killers of Rajive Ghandhi, was strongly condemned at the Alliance media briefing.

Minister Patalie Champika said that Cheif Minister Vigneshwaran has said that he approved the release of Rajive Ghandhi killers by Jayalalitha. The Chief Minister himself lives in Bambalapitiya, Colombo. If democracy was not established by the security forces, he would not have become Chief Minister.

Minister Susil Premajayanth said that Jayalalitha used to wear body armour when the LTTE was active. Even Vigneshwaran could not go to Jaffna. He can do so now due to the Government and soldiers. The Minister said that Mr. Vigeshwararan was acting according to the instructions he received from the diaspora and the various other elements.

Media Spokesman of National Freedom Front M. Mussamil said that various elements are trying to destabilize the country under the pretext of human rights. Vigneshwarans and Sridharans are acting various roles. Some of these are acted by the UNP and the JVP. Others are acted in Geneva and the USA. He requested the people to understand the true nature of this issue.
