Northwestern Chief Minister Dayasiri Jayasekara has said that the Opposition was going against the Government by encouraging international forces against the country.
He called on the Opposition to make a public statement on the brutality of tiger terrorism, if it was not loyal to the LTTE. The Northwestern Chief Minister made this challenge at a news conference at the Sri Lanka Freedom Party Head Office.

Dayasiri Jayasekara accused the Opposition of building quite a different picture while transacting with the LTTE outfit and also the Tamil Diaspora. The LTTE is a ruthless terrorist outfit which has killed many Sinhala, Tamil and Muslim civilians. He challenged the Opposition if possible to publicly declare the ruthlessness of the LTTE.
