The Tamil Nadu Government which decided to free the killers of Rajiv Gandhi undermining the Indian law should be dissolved.
This has been emphasized by Dr. Subramaniam Swamy, a Senior Leader of the Bharathiya Janatha Party.
Dr. Swamy was expressing views to the Thinamalar newspaper published in India. He said it is pathetic to note that a person who does not understand that it is illegal to support terrorism serving as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. It is the responsibility of the Chief Minister to maintain law and order in the State. No one can watch such responsibilities being shirked.
Dr. Subramaniam Swamy pointed out that the decision taken by the State Government to threaten the Indian Central Government amounts to undermining the Centre. He emphasized that he would not hesitate even to take legal action for the dissolution of the State Government for engaging in such illegitimate activities. In the interview with the Thinamalar newspaper, he underlined that he had already taken necessary action in this respect.
He recalled the actions taken by him to dissolve the Tamil Nadu Government of Karunanidhi who aided and encouraged terrorists taking the law into his hands in the year 1990. Dr. Swamy said that similar action should be taken against Jayalalitha.
