Sri Lanka’s path is clear. Sri Lanka is an example to the world on development following the eradication of terrorism. The Chinese Ambassador said this while taking part in the opening of the second phase of the Southern expressway. He said that it was a happy occasion where another phase of the Southern express way was vested in the public and congratulated the Sri Lanka Government and the public on behalf of China on this historic occasion. He thanked everyone who lent their support to the success of the expressway project. He said that he considered the expressway as another opportunity. The Ambassador said that he was able to see the country’s prosperity and economic development daily during the past two years. The whole country as well as Colombo City are reaping the benefits of development. Sri Lanka has become famous for development in Asia and world during the past two years after the conclusion of the war. He added that when certain people asked him about the international accusations leveled against Sri Lanka, he told them that Sri Lanka was on a successful correct path. He wished that Sri Lanka would develop in all areas.
