In the meantime the Central Environmental Authority said the factory is registered with Board of Investment of Sri Lanka. It has been operating from the year 2001 with an environmental protection certificate. The environmental survey reports had been submitted to a lawsuit which is being heard in the Avissawella Court against the country.
