Burglars of both thefts at Commercial banks, Piliyandala and Attidiya branches apprehended
The police have been able to apprehend the burglars who were involved in the thefts at the
Commercial banks at Piliyandala and Attidiya very recently.
The investigatons into these thefts were made with the cordination of the Mirihana police crimes unit and the Mt Lavinia police crimes unit in unison.They had been able to apprehend three suspects who had come riding motor cycles wearing full face helments and armed with T 56 rifles.They have robbed the Piliyandala branch of the Commercial bank on the 16th February 2015 and the Attidiya branch of the Commercial bank on the 03rd March 2015.At Piliyandala they had robbed rupees one million while at Attidiya they had robbed rupees four million and fled on their motor bikes.
