Former Premier Dimo Jayaratne yet to return 15 official vehicles
Former Prime Minister D.M.Jayaratne has failed to return 15 official vehicles that were with him during
the tenure as the Prime Minister. The Minister of public administration Karu Jayasuriya has informed the cabinet in this regard.He says some Members in the previous government had returned extra vehicles.Every past member could keep two vehicles and should return the rest used by them. This rule has not been adhered to by the former Prime Minister.
