Susil, Anura and six others visit MR
Eight stalwarts of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party all who held ministerial portfolios had grouped
together and gone to meet the former president Mahinda Rajapaksa in Colombo yesterday evening.
The senior representatives of the SLFP Anura Priyadarshana Yapa, Susil Premajayanth, Mahinda Samarasinghe, W.Seneviratne,Mahinda Amaraweera,Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena and Lasantha Alagiyawanna comprised this group.
The main topic discussed was the important matter that had surfaced on the clear evidence seen in the division of the SLFP in to factions which was very visible.The former president expressed his concern and replied saying he would not allow the party to be split.
