The running track at Sugathadasa Stadium repaired at Rs 147 M already ruptured
The Minister of sports and tourism Navin Dissanayake had visited the Sugathadasa stadium
the day before yesterday along with the related Officers for an inspection. He was astonished to see the running track spit and ruptured at various points on the running track although a sum of rupees 147 had been utilized to repair the track during the previous government to affect repairs. He had been alarmed and astonished had said that he had heard of corruptions in the sports ministry but never thought a national crime would be to this magnitude.
