The Asgiri Sanga Saba committee had met and appointed the Anu Nayake of the Siyam Korale, Asgiriya Chapter Ven.Galagala Aththadassi thera as the new Mahanayake Thera of the Asgiri Chapter.
The post of the Mahanayake thera of the Asgiriya Chapter was left void with the demise of the most Venerable Udugama Sri Buddharakkitha thera.The newly appointed Venerable Galagama Aththdassi was the Anu Nayake to the late prelate.
