Farm Manager Meepilimana farm Nuwara Eliya murdered mysteriously
The farm Manager of the seed potato farm at Meeplilmana, Nuwara Eliya has
been murdered in a mysterious manner. His body had been found in a water tank last Friday.He is 44 year old Sumedha Jayamaha a father of three children. He is a resident of Kulipitiya.However owing to his capacity as Manager of the seed potato farm he had been residing in the official Manager’s bungalow.
He had been seen only on the previous day Thursday night at around 11 pm, when he had left his bungalow according to an employee who had seen. As he had not returned on suspicion is whereabouts had been searched.
His body had been found about 200 metres from his official bungalow and the jerkin he had worn and his shoes had been found in the vicinity of the water tank.
It has been disclosed that the seed potato farm had been running at a loss for some time before he came. He had made it to have a profit via his efforts. It has been revealed that he had certain employees who were against his honest activities.
In this regard the police is conducting investigations.
