Reduction in prices of imported Potatoes and Big Onions
The special tax that was imposed on the imports of potatoes and big onions has been withdrawn
from mid night yesterday. The import trading tax of rupees fifty five imposed on potatoes has been reduced to rupees thirty while the import trading tax of rupees thirty imposed on big onions has been reduced to rupees ten.This has been conveyed by the officials of the finance ministry. Accordingly the prices of imported potatoes and big onions would be reduced.
