Arjuna explained to Malwatu Mahanayake thero how Susil erased the nomination list prepared by Chandrika
Yesterday the 14th the Minister of Aviation and Port authority Arjuna Ranatunga had met the
Mahanayake thero of the Siyam Nikaya of Malwatu chapter Venerable Thibbatuwe Sri Sumangala thera had explained how the list of the nominees of the Gampaha district prepared by the former president Chandrika Kumaratunga had been erased by the General Secretary of the United Peoples Freedom Party Susi Premajayanth on the instructions of the former president Mahinda Rajaopaksa.Arjuna had said that along with Madam Chandrika Kumaratunga had selected a good team for the Gampaha district to contest in the forthcoming parliamentary general elections. But many good names had been struck off and the names of wife’s of those having connections with corruption charges have been included in the list of the UPFA of Gamapha district.. After which he had spoken the Prime Minister and had obtained nominations to contest under UNP’s good governance party he had added. This was purely to take the country on a correct path.
The Mahanayake Thera of the Malwathu chapter had said even with difficulty a correct decision has to be taken to do justice to the country.
