“HELA URUMAYA” MOVES OUT FROM UPFA
As reported, at a media conference today, Minister of power and energy Patali Champika Ranawaka has stated that Jathika
Hela Urumaya will move out from UPFA and contest as a separate party for the next general election.He has further stated that his party works according to the ethics and they fought against corruption and cannot work with UPFA who had called them again to the party. He has further said that the party cannot break the promises given to the people which is against the clear conscience of the members of the Jathika Hela Urumaya party.
Further “Jathika Hela Urumaya” has changed the name to read as “Eksath Yahapalana Jathika Peramuna” and has replaced their symbol to ‘diamond’.
