– Sunil will go for lawIt is reported that Dallas Alahapperuma and Manoj Sirisena were given nominations despite the complaints made against them in getting nominations have been rejected by the Matara elections officer E A C Vidanachchi. She has stated that anyone could go to courts if required. The team leader of JVP Sunil Hadunnetti has stated that he will take the necessary actions.

According to the information received from election officer, Matara, there are two objections against the nominations for Dullas Alahapperuma and Manoj Sirisena.
It is said that Dullas Alahapperuma is disqualified as he has got residence-ship both in Sri Lanka and America. According to the amendment to 19th constitution, any one who has got a foreign residen-ship cannot contest for any election in Sri Lanka. Due to this reason, Basil and Gota were not given nominations. The solution to this matter has not been obtained yet.
