Susil to the Serious Acts of Frauds Commission
Former General Secretary of the United Peoples Freedom Alliance (UPFA) Minister Susil Premajayantha had arrived at the Presidential Commission of Inquiry to Investigate and Inquire into
Serious Acts of Fraud, Corruption and Abuse of Power, State Resources and Privileges (PRECIFAC), a short while ago to record a statement over the ITN issue.
A high official of the commission Lacil de Silva had said MP Premajayantha has been summoned based on a statement made by former President Mahinda Rajapaksa to the PRECIFAC last week over the non payment of outstanding bills to the ITN. – During the period prior to the presidential election for advertisements in favour of the then President Mahinda Rajapaksa’s campaign.
When the President was questioned he had said not to ask about the payments from him but as he represented the UPFA party to request it from the party. During that period the General Secretary had been Susil Premajayantha
