Former Eastern Province Chief Minister Sivanesathurai Chandrakanthan alias Pillayan has been remanded until the 30th of this month. The remand order was given by Batticaloa Magistrate N.M. Abdullah. Sivanesathurai Chandrakanthan was arrested in connection with the murder of Former Tamil National Alliance Parliamentarian Joseph Pararajasingham. He is already in remand custody.
