Police thwarts the attempt of Member of Parliament to bring in petrol
The United National Party Member of Parliament Vadivel Suresh who had threatened to commit suicide within the premises of the parliament if the wages of estate workers as suggested are not
increased.In this regard to the threat he had made he had tried to bring in two gallons of petrol into the parliamentary premises on the 19th instant. His attempt had been foiled when the Police had thwarted his attempt when he was entering the parliament.
His request was however was the government to take steps for the wage increase of estate workers.Nevertheless Vadivel Suresh had voted for the government when the budget voting took place.
