Construction work on three new bridges within the Galle City has begun. The work is being undertaken with World Bank assistance. The work was launched under the patronage of Ministers Sagala Ratnayake and Vajira Abeywardena. The estimated expenditure on the construction of these three bridges is 137 million rupees.
