Initiatives have been taken to launch 39 pure drinking water projects in several areas within the North Central Province where the kidney disease is rife. Seven billion rupees will be spent on these projects. Financial assistance is being provided by the Asian Development Bank. Such pure drinking water projects will be mooted in the Welikanda,
