Senior Solicitor General Jayantha Jayasuriya has been sworn in as the new Attorney General. Jyantha Jayasuriya becomes the 29th Attorney General of Sri Lanka. He took oaths before President Maithripala Sirisena this morning. The Constitutional Council yesterday recommended Mr. Jayasuriya for the post of Attorney General.
