The Customs have apprehended two Maldivians who attempted to smuggle out foreign currency. Customs media spokesman Dharmasena Kahadawa said that the 45,000 US Dollars were due to be confiscated. The Sri Lanka Customs succeeded in arresting two Maldivians who arrived at the Airport at around 6.30 to leave the island along with 45,000 US Dollars.
