The talks with the Indian Prime Minister Narendra  Modi had been held at the Taj Ecostica hotel in Goa on the 16th morning.

It has been mentioned that the participation of the President Maithripala Sirisena in this summit is an honour to India as well as the the countries in the Bimstec region.This had been added by the Indian Prime Minister Naredra Modi during the meeting..

In order to have talks with the high officials of the European union on the subject of regaining the GSP+ concession which we were deprived of the Prime Minister had left to Brussels city in Belgium on the 16th afternoon.

The Belgium Prime Minister Charles Michel and Prince Loveran and the top leaders of Belgium are to meet Prime Minister Ranil Wickremasinghe.In addition the Prime minister are to meet the Presidents of the European union and the European council and chief personnel is to exchange views on the regaining of the GSP+ concession

The chief of the Prime Ministers office the Minister of law and Order and development of the southern province Sagala Ratnayake,Secretary to the Prime Minister Saman Ekanayake,additional secretary Saman Athaudahetti and special auxiliary Sandra Perera are among those who accompanied the Prime Minister to Brussels  city.
