A joint training programme between the Sri Lanka and US marine soldiers is in progress. The 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit, embarked aboard USS Comstock, arrived in Colombo for a theatre security cooperation engagement. The vessel will be in the island for a four day training programme. US marines and sailors affiliated to the Comstock vessel
