Dr. Hemantha Gunatilake had been admitted to the Colombo National Hospital after being assaulted by the Chief Officer of the Government Medical Officers Association. Hospital sources said that he had left the hospital after receiving treatment. The Government Medical Officers Association had convened an anti SAITM conference at the Sri Lanka Foundation Institute last afternoon.
