Special programmes are being implemented island-wide to eradicate Dengue. One such programme was conducted in the Matara District. The Dengue eradication programme in the Matara town was conducted on the instructions of Minister Mangala Samaraweera. It has been organized by Matara Pawura organization. Matara Health officers’ office, Divisional Secretariat, Police, Army and Civil Society Organizations
