The Central Environmental Authority says that it is prohibited to use polythene for any political rally or related decorations. Breach of the law will result in a two year imprisonment and a 10,000 rupee fine. The facts were revealed at a media briefing conducted by the Authority. The ban on polythene will be strictly enforced
