John Kerry in bicycle mishap in Switzerland hospitalised


The American state secretary John Kerry who visited in an official capacity to Sri Lanka recently had also visited Switzerland also on an
official capacity. Foreign reports have revealed that John Kerry had during his leisure had joined a group of cyclists to ride bicycles. It is reported that during this exercise in the Alps area he has had a mishap,  and fallen .It is learnt that he had sustained fractures to a leg and been hospitalised.
It is learnt that John Kerry is famous for this sport and is a competent cyclist. But the American media had reported that this incident is one of the rare isolated unfortunate incidents.
The American state secretary had visited Switzerland to discuss about the plans to supply of arms to Iraq. This accident had caused the discussions planned to be curtailed. The American reports have revealed that he had planned to visit Paris and Madrid also for similar discussions. But as a result of this unfortunate mishap the proposed trips have been cancelled.

Sometime back former First Lady Mrs. Shiranthi Rajapaksa was summoned to come over to be questioned on a complaint lodged against her at the FCID after which former President's son MP Namal
Rajapaksa had interpreted it as an act of political revenge and had said, 'Let my mother stay in peace .... if you want, catch us .... don't bother our mother', thus uttering a sensitive statement.

When the Facebook ran this statement of Namal, son of former Chief Justice Shirani Bandaranayaka, Shavin Kariyawasam replied that members of his family were subjected to baseless allegations for two and a half years even without getting involved in any form of politics and became trapped in an issue which went beyond this at that time. He then states that making a statement on this occasion to win the mercy is not justified and even goes as far as questioning whether he could now sense this sorrow himself and ends up by asking that the equity of the law only be kept in mind.

Shaveen Kariyawasam is someone who is not connected to law and has pursued studies on the Cinematic Arts and is maintaining an establishment in that connection.
