388 young men and women in the Northern Province have been given Government jobs.
The ceremony to hand over letters of appointment was held under the auspices of Northern Government G.A. Chandrasiri. 136 youth representing the Jaffna District, 10 from the Kilinochchi District, 30 from the Mullaitivu District, five from the Vavuniya District and 35 youth from the Mannar District received the letters of appointment. The new appointees will be deployed to state establishments after a three-month training period.
8,414 young men and women of the North have been given jobs in the public sector since the liberation of the Province from the terrorists in the year 2009.
