Opposition Leader Ranil Wickramasinghe said that the government cannot be toppled in long sleeved shirts; so saying he rolled up his shirt sleeves at the 55th UNP convention held at the Sirikotha.

The Opposition leader stated that that they should come to power in 2014 as the party has stayed in the opposition for an adequate period. He said that he was laughed at when he said that a general election will be held in 2014. The Opposition leader said they should come out to the streets and struggle till the government is toppled.
