Fisheries talks between Sri Lanka and Chennai will commence tomorrow in Chennai. The talks in Chennai would be based on the discussions between Minister Rajitha Senaratne and Indian Foreign Minister. They would also consider the views of the Committee appointed following the discussions between the two Ministers. Sri Lanka will be represented by five government representatives and five fishing community leaders. The discussions aim at minimizing problems created by violating maritime boundaries between the two countries.
