The National Complaints Monitoring Centre of the Elections Secretariat is on alert on behalf of a just and peaceful poll.
It will entertain complaints with respect to the Western and Southern Provincial Council polls from 6.30 am on polling day. The six Districts of the Western and Southern Provinces have been given telephone and fax numbers for this purpose. Complaints in the Colombo District can be made on contact number 0112 877 631 or fax number 0112 877 623. The contact number for the Gampaha District is 0112 877 632 while the fax number is 0112 877 624.
The contact number for the Kalutara District is 0112 877 633 while the fax number is 0112 877 625. The contact number for Galle is 0112 877 634 and the fax number is 0112 877 626. The Matara District number which will receive complaints is 0112 877 635 and the fax number is 0112 877 627.
Complaints with respect to the Hambantota District can be directed on contact number 0112 877 636. The fax number is 0112 877 628.
