Sri Lankans living abroad are preparing for a massive protest urging the UN, not to proceed with the Geneva proposals. The protest will be held in front of the UN Human Rights Headquarters in Geneva tomorrow. More than 5000 Sri Lankans living in Italy, France, Germany, Switzerland, UK, Norway, Sweden, Netherland, Australia and Canada are expected to take part in the protest. It has been organized by the United Sri Lanka Association in Europe. Several protests were held in Europe earlier as well against the proposals. The first protest was held in front of the British Prime Minister’s official residence.
