The Bangladeshi Government will be extending support for development in many fields in the North Central Province.
The Government of Bangladesh is ready to extend support in technology for the inland fishery industry as well the development of the textile industry. This assurance was given by High Commissioner of Bangladesh Mohamed Safeer Rahman. He had a meeting with Chief Minister of the North Central Province S.M. Ranjith in Anuradhapura.
Expressing further support to the programme mooted by the Government to uplift the indigenous medicine system in Sri Lanka, Mr. Rahman said he was satisfied with the progress achieve by the indigenous medicine system in the North Central Province.
Among those present at this discussion was Secretary of the North Central Province H.M.R.B. Herath.
