Sri Lanka’s first Montessori cricket practice wicket has been opened.
It is a unique concept and brainchild of Anura Amaratunge, the Chief Executive Office of the Tiny Tots Montessori at Averiwatte Road in Wattala. Deputy Minister Sanath Jayasuriya was the Chief Guest at the opening ceremony. The aim of this effort is to encourage the children during the early stages to play cricket.
