The list of proposals of the Jathika Nidahas Peramuna has been handed over to the President.
The set of proposals adopted by the Jathika Nidahas Peramuna Convention has been handed over to President Rajapaksa. Party Leader and Minister Wimal Weerawansa presented the proposals to the President at Temple Trees this morning. The contents in these proposals were discussed at length.
The President said that he intends to discuss the proposals with senior members of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party. President Rajapaksa asserted that he would not hesitate to take political as well as economic decisions that should be taken to make the future of the country salutary.
Among those present on the occasion were Ministers Susil Premajayantha and Dulles Alahapperuma and Deputy Minister Weerakumara Dissanayake.
