The President inquires into the wellbeing of a sick child.
The President who summoned Saubaghya Devmini of Ransegoda in Kamburupitiya who is suffering from the bone fracturing disease to Temple Trees made inquiries into her wellbeing. Drawing his attention to recent media reports on the child, President Rajapaksa took action to direct her to the Lady Ridgeway Hospital for special treatment.
Saubaghya who expressed her views to the President on her studies and other skills displayed her capabilities to the President. Instructions were issued to the Housing Minister to provide a permanent house to her family.
The President also issued instructions to provide her the necessary facilities for future treatment.
Defence Secretary Gotabhaya Rajapaksa and the parents of the child were present on the occasion.
